mooooosh

It Came From the Mosh Pit features six of Australia's most energetic Punk Rock bands performing original music plus a tribute to great Aussie Rock Anthems.

Headlining is self-proclaimed 'punkest band in the world' Frenzal Rhomb. Their single, Punch in the Face tends to cause the most serious casualties at live shows, perhaps because of the video clip which is tipped to help it achieve fourteen ARIA nominations.

Untainted by time, fashion and general disinterest, Sydney's Nancy Vandal brings their frantic three chord hooliganism to Brisbane. To summarise the Vandal phenomenon is like explaining the Renaissance in twenty words or less.

The Blitz Babiez from Sydney, last seen in Brisbane at the 4ZZZ Market Day, deliver their own distinctive brand of rock and roll. Fellow Market Day veterans, Brisbane's own legendary boogie monster Blowhard, features more horns than the devil with its five piece brass section.

Young NSW punks Fugg (on the run without their mums) and Brisbane's footie rockers Scrumfeeder complete the line up.

This concert will be recorded for CD release.
