Chinadance is a highlight of the TAKE OVER Dance Program. Conceived and choreographed by Xiao Xiong Ahang, whose thrilling work combines Western and Chinese dance tradtions, Chinadance is a unique cultural exchange bringing together dance students from the Centre for the Performing Arts, Adelaide University and the Daqing Dance Academy in the People's Republic of China. Created in colloboration with musical director Piao Long Hua and choreographer Wang Ju, it will travel to China and Hong Kong, following its world premiere in the Australian Festival for Young People.SCHOOL SHOWS
